Detainee Z was recently accused of tampering with his electronic tag and thus breaching the conditions of his bail order. He was arrested on 22^nd June and taken to the High Security Prison, HMP Belmarsh, where he is held as a Category A prisoner while he awaits a SIAC (Special Immigration Appeals Commission) hearing on 28^th July to challenge that accusation.

Algerian citizen Detainee Z came to the UK in order to study for a Masters degree in Engineering.
