IHRC is embarking on a pilot project to assess Muslim experiences of hostility and discrimination including hates crimes. This project starts in March 2010 and we hope to be reporting the results later in the year.
The Pilot Project is aimed at people who live in Europe who are or are perceived to be Muslim. In particular we are looking for people to fill in the questionnaires who are based in the following countries:
- United Kingdom
- France
- Holland
- Belgium
The questionnaires are available in a number of different national and community languages (see links below).

We appreciate what busy lives we all lead, but please do take the 10 - 15 minutes needed to fill this in.
This questionnaire is entirely anonymous, and you do not have to give any information that can be used to identify you.
This study is one of the first of its kind – by completing this questionnaire, you will be help not only in one study, but we hope to be able to set a model that can be used every year. Currently, there are no regular statistics that governments or a local authorities can use to understand the problems that Muslims face. This questionnaire is a way to provide this type of information.
