Cageprisoners and the Pakistan based NGO, Defence for Human Rights, are pleased to announce that they have joined together in order to work on detentions and unlawful killings in Pakistan.  

The joint venture will see institutional cooperation between the two organisations as we seek to highlight the violations of human rights taking place within the context of the War on Terror internationally.

The project will see the two organisations investigating into the following areas:

1. Enforced disappearances

2. Extrajudicial killings

3. Detention without charge

4. Torture

Pakistan has become a crucible of the War on Terror as the world struggles to understand how to respond to the government and its people. Cageprisoners and Defence for Human Rights hope to use the primary investigations in order to bring understanding of the current conflict and to help provide answers and solutions for the way forward.
